DIANA DAWSON MA Msc

Diana is the owner and Managing Director of Working Career. She specialised in individuals and their careers including career guidance, coaching, training and group career workshops. She has and is currently studying for:

• MA in Psychology from the University of Aberdeen.
• MSc in Career Counselling and Management from The School of Management and Organisational Psychology at Birkbeck College, University of London.
• Currently studying MSc Occupational Psychology at the University of Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian University.

She has worked for The Boots Company in Head Office, Nottingham in the roles of Supply Chain Manager, Product manager and Marketing Manager and also worked in recruitment including Meville Craig (now Hudson).

Individual career counselling has been with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds including laywers, accountants and the financial sector, marketing, medicine and the public sector. Organisational work has been with companies such as Glaxo Smith Kline, HBoS, Savilles, RBS and BAE Systems. Diana is an accredited member of The British Psychological Society, The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and The Institute of Career Guidance.

She is Level A and B qualified in psychometric testing and is additionally qualified to use the following psychometrics :

• MBTI - Myers-Briggs Type Indicator including individual coaching and teamwork
• OPQ32
• Hogan
• The Highlands Ability Battery

NIAMH DONNELLAN BA Msc

Niamh Donnellan is a chartered occupational psychologist with nearly 20 years experience in the area of Human Resources.  She has a:

• BA in Psychology from University College Galway
• MSc in Occupational Psychology from Queen’s University Belfast

She has worked for Ford Motor Company, Melville Craig Group (now Hudson) and SHL as well as providing assessment consultancy services to organisations such as HBoS, Scottish Widows, Scottish Amicable, Children 1st, Chivas Regal, Celtic Football Club . She is a member of The British Psychological Society and The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.  Her work is driven by using proven processes that provide practical benefits to identify and develop talent in organisations.  Examples of the type of work she typically carries out are:

Design, delivery and management of Assessment and Development Centres for a wide range of roles in public, private and voluntary sectors.  Roles have included Chief Executive, Management, Graduates and Production Operator. Development interventions, assessing talent, one to one feedback, coaching for Directors and Managers.

She is Level A and B qualifed in the use of occupational tests and personality profiles with particular expertise in the following tools:

GORDON ROBERTSON MA

Gordon is an experienced business manager and consultant with over 15 years as a management consultant and leadership coach.  He has

• MA in Psychology from Glasgow University

He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a Member of The Association of Business Psychologists.  He was trained by and worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers as a senior consultant supporting clients managing change, organisation design and development, effective utilisation of human resources and the creation and implementation of training strategies.

Gordon has provided consultancy services to organisations such as the Sun Microsystems, Laing Traditional Masonry, Tan International, BBC, Aberdeen City Council, Total Oil, Gentech, Serologicals, RSBiotech, Culzean Country Park, Millipore, and PGL - Senergy. Examples of the type of work he typically carries out are the design, delivery, and management of:

Business growth programmes, High performance coaching, Personal mentoring, Competency based appraisal systems, Development Centres, Staff Development Plans and Development Team Working.
