At Working Career we are concerned with optimising individual careers through making right choices and assisting organisations in maximising the talent they have and plan to take on.

DIANA DAWSON MA Msc

Diana is the owner and Managing Director of Working Career. She conducts the one to one career programmes and specialises in individuals and their careers including career guidance, coaching, training and group career workshops. She has and is currently studying for:

• MA in Psychology from the University of Aberdeen.
• MSc in Career Counselling and Management from The School of Management and Organisational Psychology at Birkbeck College, University of London.
• Currently completing MSc Occupational Psychology at the University of Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian University.

She has had various roles in various organisations including Supply Chain Management, Product and Marketing Management and she has also worked in recruitment including Melville Craig (now Hudson).

Individual career counselling has been with people from a wide range of backgrounds including those working in the legal and financial sector, marketing, medicine and the public sector. Organisational work has been with companies such as Glaxo Smith Kline, HBoS, Savilles, City of Edinburgh Council, RBS and BAE Systems. Diana is an accredited member of The British Psychological Society, The Institute of Career Guidance, The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and The Association of Career Professionals International.

She is Level A and B qualified in psychometric testing and is additionally qualified to use the following psychometrics :

• MBTI - Myers-Briggs Type Indicator including individual coaching and teamwork
• NEO
• OPQ32
• Hogan
• The Highlands Ability Battery

For larger corporate projects such as Assessment Centres, we use selected associates.
