”WORK IT OUT” – Credit Crunch Workshops
In times of financial crisis and change, redundancy, for some companies becomes inevitable. Being able to provide support for those who face redundancy sends a positive message to, not only those who are leaving, but also the survivors of redundancy.
Who are the Workshops for?
This workshop is for those who are being made redundant and:
- Want to get more from their future career?
- Are thinking of a change of direction but not sure what that is?
- Want to build self confidence in the workplace?
- Want to know what their strengths are, so they can make the most of their talents?
- Need assistance with their job search
- Need assistance with marketing themselves
What does it involve?
In these interactive and results focused workshops, we cover the areas of:
"who are you" - the individual's experiences, transferable skills, strengths, interests and work values
"what do you want" - what sort of work fits the individual's needs and talents
"how do you get there" - how individuals fill the gaps between where they are and they want to be
Through a variety of techniques, such as questionnaires and co-coaching, we facilitate understanding of the individual's experiences, personality, transferable skills and interests.
We also provide useful and effective information about how to job search, how to write a CV, pointers on interview techniques and self marketing.
To ensure the individual is making progress and completing action plans, we will arrange a follow-up, one to one meeting/coaching session for a couple of weeks after the workshop.
What do you get?
Attendees can expect:
- Greater self understanding
- Greater self confidence
- A better career vision
- All materials for the exercises including a folder to keep career plans
- Networking with Others
- Useful information on job search and interview skills for career changers
