Do you want to change your career direction to be happier at work and love the work you do?

Read on to find out how you can achieve a career change to achieve your dreams.

Are you considering a career change? Do you need some career change advice to make the right choices?

You’ve come to the right place–this is what we do at Working Career.

Do you want to wake up in the morning and look forward to being happy on your working day?

If you find it difficult to get that first foot out of bed in the morning, consider this: it doesn’t have to be this way. Looking forward to the day’s work may seem like a dream to you at the moment, but the opportunity is out there for you to have exactly the working life you want.

Maybe you have been made redundant, or you’re going through a career transition and see this as an opportunity to change careers?

Change can be forced upon us. But we can take this as an opportunity to review what we are doing career-wise and think about the best choices from now on. This could mean deciding whether to stay in the same type of job or to take a new direction.

Feel as though your talents are wasted at work?

You may wonder if there really is a career out there that’s perfect for you, one that you would love. While there is not necessarily one ‘golden career’ for everyone, not using your talents is a prime cause of frustration and stress, and a missed opportunity to earn money doing something you are truly good at.

Want to know where your strengths and abilities lie?

Many people have never had the chance to find out what their unique strengths and abilities are. It doesn’t matter how old or young you are, it’s never too late to find out what you are good at. We will help you find out what your strengths are and show you how to put them to good use.

Is work a constant struggle to be interested and motivated?

So many people go to work every day and struggle with jobs that don’t come easily or naturally to them. This has a huge knock-on effect on motivation and satisfaction. Working while you feel this way is the primary cause of avoidable work-related stress and anxiety.

Does work seem meaningless?

It is so important to have work that has meaning. We all need to feel there’s a purpose to our work and to our lives. Finding meaning and purpose is a vitally important element of job satisfaction and overall happiness.

If any of this sounds like you, maybe it is time for a change of career?

I get it! I have been there too.

I have been in jobs where I loved the people but hated the work. It made me miserable. Eventually, I left. After trying other careers, I retrained to help others be happy and successful at work.

Having worked with individuals and their career changes for nearly twenty years, I have found out what helps people to make a painless change of career.

I developed a Career Change Programme, to help you find the work that you would love to do.

7 Steps to Love the Work You Do - Career Change Coaching Programme

The 7 Steps to Love the Work You Do Career Change Programme will provide you with the insights and the confidence you need to make good career decisions. Using a combination of career counselling, career coaching, psychometric testing and informal exercises and questionnaires, we identify all the issues affecting your career choices and your satisfaction at work to date. We highlight your strengths and your sense of purpose, what you need from work, what you can do and what is available to you. Having found out where you are now and what you need from your career, we make a plan for the future.
