FREE manager’s guide shares how you can retain your people after the pandemic

Are you wondering how “The Great Resignation” will affect your organisation and how you can stop people leaving their jobs or changing their careers?

I have been lucky enough to work as an associate of We are Beyond for the last few years in my capacity as an Executive and Career Coach. We are Beyond are an organisation of consultants, coaches and trainers who enable you to unlock the potential of your people and perform even better.

Following on from the hugely successful resilience and wellbeing toolkit at the start of the pandemic, (that to date has had over 45,000+ downloads), We are Beyond have created a new 13-page guide aimed at leaders and managers to help them keep their people after the pandemic.

What’s inside the guide?

  • The impact of the pandemic on employee retention (including healthcare sector)

  • Top tips on how to connect more effectively with your people

  • Tool 1: How to build trust with your people

  • Tool 2: How to motivate your people

  • Tool 3: How to enable your people to be in flow

  • Further support to connect with your people

The global pandemic has had a significant impact on many organisations and the people that work within them. It has changed how, where, and when many of us work. It has caused some organisations to close, some to grow significantly and others to develop into new and sometimes unexpected areas.

With this uncertain and constantly evolving working environment, it has never been more difficult, or more important, for managers and leaders to engage and motivate their people. This becomes even more vital as we enter a ‘post-pandemic’ workplace, as evidence shows a significant number of people want to move jobs.

According to a Global survey by Microsoft with 31,000 employees in 2021 - 41% of employees are considering quitting or changing professions!

In what some economists are calling ‘the Great Resignation’, the pandemic is expected to result in a significant number of people leaving their job in pursuit of something new. Depending on how advanced an individual country is in their ‘post-pandemic’ journey will impact the timing of the market recovery and subsequent employee churn. For the majority of ‘Western’ countries, in particular the UK, US and Europe, experts are expecting a high level of employee turnover towards the end of 2021 and throughout 2022.

So what can organisations and their leaders do in order to reduce the number of people leaving?
